outfitCameron had never really been one for cutting class, unless it was a subject he really hated or the teacher was bad or something along those lines. He was a good student, no where near top of the class material though. Cam just didn't really care about school, the field he wanted to go into didn't really need any schooling. Model, photographer or artist. Where was he going to use anything he learned in school in any of those fields? So with those comforting thoughts in mind Cam slipped away from the crowd headed to classes and headed in the opposite direction of his class. He wasn't trying to be silent as that would be difficult to do with his heels clicking lightly on the ground with each step. No one would stop him, they never did so he couldn't really find it in himself to care. The feminine male wandered the halls, no real aim in mind. He thought about going to his art classroom and just drawing but he didn't think the teacher would appreciate it. So he just continued wandering, rather wishing he had someone to talk to. Cam tended to stay away from the other students as he had always been gullible and would be easily tricked into believing that someone wanted to be his friend even if they were setting him up for a prank. He'd become mistrusting of people but that didn't stop him from wishing that he could have company.

Marie had gym class now, more accurately team sports, and today they were playing an intense volleyball session (who knew Americans could get so worked up over such a game?) and Marie had managed to get knocked to the ground. She never had been very coordinated. That was why she played no sports, she didn't dance much. Nothing other than ballroom (that was just excepted given her status in life). Marie certainly looked enough in shape, but it had nothing to do with pure, unbridled athletics.
Anyway, her teacher being much dismayed at the minor mishap, sent Marie to the nurse for ice. Granted, her head did hurt, but Marie wasn't quite as fragile as she looked. Not really. So after visiting the nurse and applying the ice pack (merely a plastic bag with ice in it) to her head and walking out slowly, excused from the rest of class, she threw it out in the hallway trash can.
She was just in her school uniform, standard skirt and white button down blouse. Marie really had no where to go though, so she sat down on one of the random chairs in the hall and waited. Waiting for what she wasn't sure.
Then, after long periods of silence, she began to hear the recognizable sound of heels on the polished floors.

It didn't take long for Cameron to become bored, only a few minutes actually. He found himself wishing, not for the first time, that he was still back in New York City where he did have friends and there was always something to do. He even missed the enemies he had there! At least they were interesting. The only thing in Paris that seemed to hold his attention for long was the shopping and all the gorgeous people wandering the streets. But when he was couped up in the school he didn't have access to either of those.
As he turned a corner his eyes alighted on a rather pretty girl sitting in a random seat in the hallway. He was about to just keep walking when he reminded himself how bored he had been. At least this girl could provide some small entertainment, even if it was only conversation. That would be better than the nothing he had been doing before.
Cam put a smile on his face as he walked towards the girl, stopping several feet away. "Hi there," he greeted in a voice that was too feminine to be male but not quite feminine enough to be female. "Are you cutting too? Or did you get thrown out?" He questioned, hoping desperatly that this girl wasn't one of those stuck up, famous child ones.

"Thrown out I guess you could say, hit the ground in gym, they sent me to the nurse." Marie laughed a little, almost bitterly. "You know, so my parents don't throw a fit. I'm fine though." She said. Marie had the tendency to be a bit aloof and difficult to those she didn't know, or knew were beneath her. She certainly didn't know this person, but she didn't know their position at all, could this person's parents ruin her future career? Best to place nice.
"What about you?"
Now that she had asked a question, she could spend some time taking in her companion. Wearing girl;s clothes, rather skinny, long hair... not much filling out the shirt... was this even a girl? the voice was uttlery misleading and no help at all. It made her feel extremely awkward not knowing if she was talking to a boy or a girl. it looked like a girl, it sort of sounded like a girl with a deep voice... and yet....
And it would be so rude to ask...

Cam raised his eyebrows as the girl stated that she had hit her head on the ground in gym. It sounded like something he would do. He was good at a handful of spots but in most others he was completely hopeless and couldn't play at all. He could be a bit of a klutz and never wanted to play sports for fear of messing up his appearance. "I'm guessing it wasn't a bad fall?" He asked curiously, wondering at the bitter tone of her voice. Did this girl have something against the school or her parents? Well that was something he wouldn't find out unless they became friends.
"Oh I'm cutting. Math," he replied easily, not trying to even hide the fact that he was cutting class. So what if she had a problem with it, it wasn't like she was a teacher or anything so what would she do? Reprimand him? Like he really cared.
Cam let his eyes run over the other's appearance. She really was rather pretty but not entirely his type, he was more into the scene style. He liked her hair though, it was very pretty. After one last glance over her appearance, he returned his eyes to her face and smiled again. "I'm Cameron, by the way," he introduced himself, thinking that it would probably be easier to talk to each other if they knew each other's names.

"No, not really. I mean it hurts, but no need to worry so much." Marie really was a little tougher than she looked. A little. not much. But enough. She wasn't made of china. But she did sound incredibly silly, she seemed unable to keep her mouth shut. Marie wasn't really a talkative creature and it seemed weird to her, talking so much.
"Ah, math," Marie didn't like math. She didn't really know anyone who did. It didn't surprise her that he was skipping it, most people would. Her math skills were decent, thanks to the many tutors and pressing from her parents at an early age.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Marie." She gracefully extended her hand for him to shake. Her fingers were long and slender, perfect for her talent--playing piano.
